Fostering for Nobody’s Perfekt Dogs & Cats

We are a “special needs” rescue. Shelters will contact us about dogs or cats with medical and/or behavioral issues that the shelter cannot adopt out and need to go to a rescue group. We are considered a “rescue of last resort” in that our shelter partners will reach out to all other rescue groups first, before contacting us. If we have room in a foster home, we will take the dog or cat.

We understand that fostering our dogs or cats can be challenging, and to be honest, many of the people who volunteer to foster give up after a short period of time and return the dog or cat.

We move mountains, bend over backwards , etc. to make sure that our foster homes are fully supported. We provide all the needed supplies, vet care, peer-to-peer training. Our application is thorough so that we can ensure that we match the right foster dog to your particular situation and experience.
